One-step aseptic opening introduced for “Evero” milk package / Safety features combine with convenience
Swedish packaging giant Tetra Pak (Lund; www.tetrapak.com) has launched the Tetra “Evero” aseptic one-step opening (OSO) for its 1,000 ml aseptic carton bottle for milk. The company said that the “Evero” plastic package combines the handling and pouring of a bottle with the environmental advantages of a carton.

The OSO has double safety features – a tamper-evident ring and a neck membrane that is removed by twisting the cap. Tetra Pak said that independent research had found that consumers find “Evero” easier to open, hold and pour from than other bottles.
The package is aimed at the ambient white milk market, including milk enriched with calcium, proteins, fibres (inulin), vitamins A and D and minerals.
