German distributor's CEO Oliver Zimmermann resigns
Oliver Zimmermann, CEO of German speciality chemicals distributor TER Group (Hamburg; www.tergroup.com), has resigned. The company said that as a result of differences linked to the strategic vision, board chairman Christian Westphal and Zimmermann had reached a mutual agreement that the latter would leave the company. Zimmermann had served as chief executive of the company and its TER Chemicals Distribution Group subsidiary. Following his departure, the group will be managed by Westphal and Thomas Sprock.
TER Group is the majority shareholder of TER Chemicals Distribution Group as well as TER Plastics Polymer Group (Herne / Germany; www.terplastics.com). The company’s 672 employees posted sales of EUR 570m in 2015.
