European plastic pipe association's next president is Tom Van Gyseghem

Effective immediately, Tom Van Gyseghem takes over from Fausto Bejarano (see Plasteurope.com of 18.04.2019) as president of the European plastic pipe manufacturers association,Teppfa (Brussels / Belgium; www.teppfa.eu) for the next two years. Van Gyseghem is currently the chief growth officer and an executive committee member at Aliaxis (Brussels; www.aliaxis.com). He plans to continue Teppfa’s work done with the EU’s “Circular Plastics Alliance” to increase the uptake of recycled content into products. Bejarano has retired from Aliaxis and is moving to the Americas.

Teppfa comprises 12 member companies and 15 national associations in Europe, representing around 350 companies with 40,000 employees. Teppfa members produce around 3m t/y and generate annual sales of EUR 12 bn.
