Elizabeth Ponte has been appointed senior marketing manager for thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) at US custom compounder Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, Rhode Island; www.teknorapex.com). In her new role she will coordinate all TPE marketing activities in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, comprising the company’s “Elaxar”, “Medalist”, “Monprene” and “Sarlink” product ranges. A key emphasis will be on integrating the TPE portfolio of the US company’s recently acquired long-term business partner PTS Plastic-Technologie-Service (Adelshofen-Tauberzell / Germany; www.pts-marketing.de) – see Plasteurope.com of 05.04.2016.

Ponte first joined Teknor Apex in 2001 and has since held a number of positions in sales and marketing. She most recently served as marketing manager TPE for the Americas.
