Fire at UK plant / Backup up plan in place to meet orders
A fire occurred on 29 April at the Oldbury, UK, plant of custom compounder Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, Rhode Island / USA; www.teknorapex.com). The blaze, discovered in the warehouse, has been contained and no injuries were reported. Teknor Apex is currently setting up a temporary local office and has initiated its manufacturing backup plan to source materials from its other plants around the world to fulfill customer orders.
