Custom compounding company Teknor Apex UK (Oldbury / UK; www.teknorapex.com) has appointed IMCD Group (Rotterdam / The Netherlands; www.imcdgroup.com) to distribute its full range of engineering thermoplastic (ETP) compounds throughout western, eastern, and southern Europe. The products covered by the agreement include reinforced, filled, and specially modified “Beetle” and “Chemlon” compounds of nylon 6 and 6.6, PET, PBT, and acetal copolymer.

Teknor Apex UK and Teknor Apex Europe were established by Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, Rhode Island / USA) in March 2008 – see Plasteurope.com of 18.03.2008. IMCD Group specialises the marketing, sale, and distribution of specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food ingredients, and has annual sales of EUR 900m. It employs 800 people in 29 countries and has offices and warehouses in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Africa.
