TEIJIN DUPONT FILMS
Full production reached in Utsunomiya after Japan earthquake
Teijin DuPont Films (Tokyo / Japan; www.teijindupontfilms.jp/english) has resumed full-scale production of PET films at its factory in Utsunomiya, Tochigi prefecture.

The company, a joint venture between Teijin (Tokyo / Japan; www.teijin.co.jp/english) and DuPont (Wilmington, Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com), suspended production at the site following the earthquake in northeastern Japan on 11 March. Partial operation was resumed on 30 April – see Plasteurope.com of 04.04.2011. Parent group Teijin said all its Japanese facilities are now operating on a normal basis after the earthquake.
