TARO PLAST
“Taroforce” reinforced PP to be introduced at “Fakuma” industry fair
Taro Plast (Soragna / Italy; www.taroplast.com) is to introduce its LGF-PP “Taroforce” range at the “Fakuma 2014” (www.fakuma-messe.de) plastics processing trade fair, held from 14 to 18 October in Friedrichshafen / Germany. The company says the material has better impact strength, lower warpage, higher creep and fatigue resistance and greater mechanical resistance and stiffness than conventional glass fibre-reinforced products.
“Taroforce” is available in a range of versions and is suitable as a metal replacement in applications where it must withstand high mechanical stress for long periods of time. It is manufactured by pultrusion and is available with glass fibre content from 20% to 60%. It has been developed for applications in the automotive market including front-end carriers, door panels, instrument panels, seats and supporting structures, central console carriers and mirror housings.
