Global EPS and PU price hike
In response to rising raw materials, labour, energy and transportation costs, the ThermoSafe Brands division of global packaging giant Sonoco (Hartsville, South Carolina / USA; www.sonoco.com) has announced a price hike for its expanded polystyrene and polyurethane product portfolio, effective 5 March 2012. The increase will range between 4-7%, and Sonoco said it would contact customers individually to determine the specific rise.
