South Korean chemical producer Songwon (Ulsan; www.songwon.com) has signed a distribution agreement for PVC additives in India with Makwell Plastisizers (Mumbai, Maharashtra; www.makwellgroup.com), with effect from December 2020. Makwell is a five-decade-old manufacturer and distributer of PVC additives, while also currently being one of the largest manufacturers of epoxidized soybean oil in India.

Commenting on the agreement, Arie Kooij, head of PVC additives at Songwon, said, “With an experienced partner, we will be well-positioned to further expand our product availability. Makwell has a strong local distribution network, which will add great value for Songwon.”
