High-performance engineering thermoplastics supplier Link Upon Advanced Material (Taipei / Taiwan; www.linkupon.com) has been appointed by Solvay Advanced Polymers (Alpharetta, Georgia / USA; www.solvayadvancedpolymers.com) as an authorised distributor for its “KetaSpire” (PEEK) and “AvaSpire” polyaryletherketone (PAEK) resins in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China.

Link Upon has a broad range of processing expertise in injection moulding, extrusion, machining, assembly, product design and mould design. Ah Hing Lin, the company’s president and CEO, said: “This new distribution arrangement expands the breadth of our portfolio options for customers and opens up new market opportunities.” He added that he sees strong growth for “KetaSpire” and “AvaSpire” resins in markets including semiconductors, compressors, medical and equipment for automated manufacturing.
