Plaselec (F-77185 Lognes), subsidiary of Sogaplast (F-77570 Chateau-Landon; www.sogaplast.com), a supplier to the automotive industry with a special focus on processing glass-fibre reinforced PA, has won an award for “outstanding technical innovation” for a clutch pedal developed for Peugeot´s 206 model. The award was presented by the chambers of commerce of Meaux and Melum, the provincial minister and the organisation for structural development of the Departement Seine-et-Marne.

The company is currently developing gearbox oil-supply channels. Plaselec also manufactures bumper cushions, laminated plastic discs and plastic belt or chain guides.
