New PE agricultural and industrial film recycling plant opened in France
Sita France (Nanterre / France; www.sita.fr) has commissioned a new EUR 3.5m plant to recycle LDPE industrial and agricultural film. The plant, located in Viviez, about 150 km north of Toulouse, is operated by Sita subsidiary Sopave and will turn the materials into garbage sacks as well as recyclate.
Sopave did not indicate the plant’s nameplate capacity. It did say, however, that it plans to widen the facility’s processing capacity to include post-consumer films in the future.
