sicht-pack Hagner GmbH (D-72280 Dornstetten / Hallwangen) has announced the commissioning of a further large-scale film production plant. The new production line forms the centrepiece of its strategic focus on “Future Films”, “Food Packaging”, and customized thermoformed packaging. The company is selling its entire “Box” product line, which takes in transparent folding boxes, slip-over packs and lids and round boxes, to Kelder plastibox b.v. (Postbus 41, NL-7040 AA ´s-Herrenberg). With the construction of its new product line, Hagner is responding to the growing demand forecast for PET film in Europe. Rigid PP film for thermoforming is similarly being expanded with a view to high-volume production. This is intended to secure Hagner´s leading position in Europe.

Kelder plastibox b.v., which belongs to the British group, Dolphin Packaging plc, has been an eminent manufacturer of folding boxes and round boxes for more than 50 years. The company has been cooperating with Hagner for many years and will secure the lead in Europe with its new product line.
