The largest South Korean injection moulding machine producer, Woojin Plaimm (Europe: Leobersdorf / Austria; www.woojinplaimm.com/global/en), and robot manufacturer Sepro (La Roche-sur-Yon / France; www.sepro-group.com) have recently set up an equipment partnership for 3- and 5-axis robots. The South Korean injection moulding machines are to be marketed by Nortec Maschinentechnik (Soltau / Germany; www.nortec.biz), as the representative for Germany, together with Sepro robots making up the equipment packages. Nortec has been a partner of Woojin Plaimm in Germany since May 2017 – see Plasteurope.com of 02.10.2017.
Sepro’s cooperation with Woojin Plaimm is the latest of more than 10 partnerships the French group has entered into with injection moulding machine producers. In 2017, Sepro extended several collaborations, including with Haitian (Ningbo, Zhejiang / China; www.haitian.com – see Plasteurope.com of 26.10.2017) and Milacron (Cincinnati, Ohio / USA; www.milacron.com – see Plasteurope.com of 10.04.2017), as well as invested in expansions in France and the US – see Plasteurope.com of 26.05.2017.
