Carbon fibre fabric range introduced for composites production
Industrial textile manufacturer Scott & Fyfe (Fife, Scotland / UK; www.scott-fyfe.com) has introduced a line of carbon fibre fabrics for the composites industry. The “Polycarb” range is initially launched with uni-directional carbon fibre tapes ranging from 100 gsm to 1,000 gsm and is to be expanded to include specialised high performance fabrics.

Scott & Fyfe business manager, Paul McMullan, said: “Utilising our depth of experience, proprietary tow spreading technology and specialised production systems, we have developed products that we feel will offer our clients a competitive advantage. We are also happy to work on a one-to-one basis with our customers to develop bespoke solutions to their technical challenges.”
