Swiss antimicrobial-products producer Sanitized (Burgdorf; www.sanitized.com) has chosen Ferro-Plast (Milan / Italy; www.ferroplast.com) to distribute its polymer additives for hygiene function and material protection in Italy. The companies described the sales partnership as a “good fit” for their portfolios, which they said focuses on providing customer-specific solutions.

Sanitized’s additives provide protection from bacterial infestation, growth of algae and mildew, material degradation, biofilms, pink stain and odours caused by microbes. The polymer industry uses the antimicrobial additive in flooring, industrial coatings, artificial leather, roof membranes, pool liners, tarpaulins and all extruded products.

Sanitized customers in the polymer industry in Mexico will also profit from the company’s sales partnership with Chemlogis (Mexico; www.chemlogis.com), as Chemlogis plans to distribute Sanitized polymer additives in the Mexican market, with focus on the PVC industry, PU foam industry and polymers.
