SANDRETTO
Multi-component machine “made by Windsor“ / Cooperation between Italy and Germany
The cooperation between the Italian company Sandretto (I-10097 Collegno / Torino; www.sandretto.it) and Windsor Kunststofftechnologie GmbH (D-63452 Hanau; www.windsor-gmbh.de) is showing first results. Almost one year ago, Sandretto announced its official introduction to the German market (PIE 22, 2001). At the recent “Fakuma 2002” exhibition, the two members of Cannon Group (I-20090 Trezzano; www.cannon.com) presented the multi-component model of Sandretto´s “Nove” series of injection moulding machines. This machine has been fitted for multi-component processing by Windsor.
Over the past years, the German company with the same name as the former manufacturer of injection moulding machines has made an impact on the market with its flexible multi-component modules (“PlugXpress”). Due to the company´s expertise in this area, the overall responsibility for development and production will remain with the German partner. Both companies put special emphasis on one special feature offered by Sandretto´s “Nove Multi made by Windsor” range: all injection units can be programmed individually. Therefore, the second multi-component unit can be controlled independently from the other and adapted or changed easily. The overall flexibility of the system is substantially improved. The machines are manufactured in Turin / Italy or in Hanau / Germany, depending on the machine range. They are available with clamping forces between 1,300 kN and 4,850 kN.
