SALAMANDER
New mixing equipment for Polish subsidiary
PVC profile manufacturer Salamander Industrie-Produkte (SIP, Türkheim / Germany; www.sip.de/en) on 12 October commissioned new modern PVC compounds mixing equipment for the Wloclawek site operated by its subsidiary Brügmann. No details were provided on the amount of money invested, although the new capacity has created 10 new jobs, raising the company’s total workforce to 213. Serving as its gateway to the east, SIP operates 13 extruders and 4 laminating plants at Wloclawek.
