Market offensive for film materials in Poland / Future LDPE deliveries from Wilton
At the “AddFilm 2010” fair, held in Warsaw at the beginning of December, Sabic Europe (Geleen / The Netherlands; www.sabiceurope.com) promised Polish film manufacturers increased LDPE deliveries from its new plant in Wilton, Teesside / UK starting in 2011.
As part of a presentation of Sabic’s polyolefin delivery capacities from its hub in Kutno, central Poland, Piotr Kwiecien, CEO of Sabic’s Polish office, said the company was working closely together with plant manufacturers like Hosokawa Alpine (multiple layers, bimodal HDPE) and Gruppo Colines (stretch) to guarantee the ongoing advancement of material types. He added that Sabic commanded the most comprehensive range of film types offered by different suppliers. In addition, Kwiecien told his Polish audience that Sabic was able to offer a global presence and reliable access to resources in the Middle East.
