RÖHM
Higher prices for PMMA-based film
Röhm (Darmstadt, Germany; www.roehm.com) said it plans to raise prices for PMMA-based film, effective 1 September 2023. The company said the materials, distributed under the Plexiglas and Europlex brands, will become 23% more expensive. It added that the rise in prices would apply to Europe, Asia, Africa, and Pacific.

The German company did not provide a reason for the price hike. In 2022, it raised prices for its PMMA moulding compounds and semi-finished products as well as feedstock MMA multiple times over the course of the year.
