Röchling (Mannheim / Germany; www.roechling.com) is creating a new position – chief information and digital officer. The first to hold this title at the company starting 1 October 2018 will be Klaus-Peter Fett, who was a Google manager.
Fett joined Google in 2010, and primarily advised and supported German-headquartered companies from the manufacturing industry in the use of cloud technologies for digital transformation. Before that, he worked at software company Mercury Interactive Germany and IBM.
Röchling CEO Hanns-Peter Knaebel sees digitalisation at the company as "a crucial requirement for its future success."
