Hercules mini-squeeze multi-layer plastic bottles selected for Swiss sauces
Britisch plastic packaging company RPC Containers Corby (Corby; www.rpc-group.com), has been chosen by Swiss condiments and sauce specialist Reitzel (Aigle; www.group-reitzel.com) to supply 300ml multi-layer bottles from its "Hercules" range for a new handy-size pack for food service operations. Reitzel has launched five classic sauces – ketchup, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, mild spicy mustard and tartar sauce – in easy-squeeze bottles has produced a three-bottle holder for restaurant tables.

Multi-layer PP/EVOH/PP construction of the bottles prolongs ambient shelf life, and the top-down design helps to ensure complete evacuation of the product with no wastage, said RPC. The lightweight bottles are also easy to handle and the tight-fitting closure keeps the opening clear and clean, the company added.

The Hercules range is available in four sizes: 300ml, 452ml, 670ml and 960ml.
