New packaging plant in Turkey to begin production
Swedish injection moulder Rosti (Malmö; www.rosti.com) said it plans to start operations at its manufacturing facility in Silivri, Turkey, at the beginning of 2024. The 6,500 m² injection moulding plant has ISO class 8 clean room capacity and can therefore produce packaging for food contact and medical applications, according to the company.

The company already operates a 12,500 m² plant in Istanbul, which is around 70km away.
The manufacturer said it also has production sites in Sweden (Malmö, Gislaved), Germany (Dresden), the UK (Stamford Bridge), Poland (Białystok), Romania (Paulesti), the US (Cary, North Carolina; Clearfield, Utah; Germantown, Wisconsin), China (Suzhou), and Malaysia (Johor).
