Danish company Rosti A/S (Brydehusvej 32, DK-2750 Ballerup) has acquired the UK injection moulder Morning Plastics Ltd (29/33 Holmethorpe Avenue, Redhill, Surrey, GB-RH1 2NQ). The acquisition marks Rosti's move into the UK market with its other operations based in Denmark, Germany and Thailand. The group has a wide range of plastics processing activities and is involved in the manufacture of bottles and containers, housewares, flower pots, technical mouldings and EPS.

The acquisition will give Rosti two injection moulding plants in the UK (at Redhill, Surrey and Southend-on-Sea) as well Minerva Engineering a mould maker based in Hastings. The group operate approximately 50 injection moulding machines and had a 1995 turnover of £ 21m. The companies will be part of Rosti's Technical Plastics Division which is expected to achieve a turnover in 1996 of DKK 350m.
