Swiss trading group Meraxis (Muri; www.meraxis-group.com) and masterbatch manufacturer Romcolor (Copaceni / Romania; www.romcolor.ro) have expanded their existing distribution partnership. With immediate effect, the Swiss company will also distribute Romcolor products in DACH and Benelux countries. To date, the distribution partnership covered markets in Hungary, Slovenia, and Serbia.

“Recently, demand for customised masterbatches in particular has increased throughout Europe, so we wanted to position ourselves even more broadly in this area,” Meraxis CEO Stefan Girschik said.

Romcolor produces colour, additive, white, and black masterbatches for various applications. The company is part of the Global Colours Group (Iraklion / Greece; www.global-colors.net), which also includes Plastika Kritis (Iraklion / Greece; www.plastikakritis.com), Global Colors Polska (Kedzierzyn-Kozle / Poland; www.globalcolors.pl), Global Colors zao (Saint Petersburg / Russia; www.globalcolors.ru) and Senkroma (Beylikduzu / Turkey; www.senkroma.com.tr), with a total of seven production sites.
