RODENBURG BIOPOLYMERS
“OK compost” certification for Solanyl bioplastics
Rodenburg Biopolymers (Oosterhout / The Netherlands; www.biopolymers.nl) has achieved “OK compost” certificates for six grades of its “Solanyl” bioplastic range. The grades have been developed for injection moulding, thermoforming and extrusion film blowing processes. All “OK compost” certified grades are commercial available.

Arthur van der Meijden, commercial director at Rodenburg Biopolymer, said: “The growth opportunities for compostable and biobased materials we see in the bioplastic market are tremendous. We are excited to have six of our commercial available Solanyl grades OK-compost certified. Together with the biobased certificates this is a next step into building our broad, renewable bioplastic portfolio comprising ready to use and easy to process grades with different characteristics, serving the market demands.”
