Start-up of company combining Rehau Automotive, SRG activities / Auto industry supplier with 22 sites worldwide

US supplier RESRG Automotive (Troy, Michigan; www.resrgautomotive.com) – pronounced “resurge automotive” – has officially started operations. The company combines the activities of Rehau Automotive and SRG Global Automotive.
A controlling interest goes to private equity firm Atlas Holdings (Greenwich, Connecticut, USA; www.atlasholdingsllc.com), while the Rehau group (Rehau, Germany; www.rehau.com) retains a minority share.
Jeff Stafeil, previously vice-president and CFO of automotive supplier Adient, has been named CEO of RESRG.

The new company is located in Troy, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. The European headquarters are in Rehau.
Pro-forma sales of the combined activities are expected at around EUR 1.7 bn. SRG’s most recent revenues were estimated at around EUR 325 mn, with Rehau reporting turnover for its automotive segment at EUR 1.42 bn in 2023.
RESRG produces bumpers, grilles, lamp bezels, wheel caps, car body parts, roof panels, claddings, and other automotive components. It provides processes covering injection and blow moulding, galvanising, and coating.
The company is kicking off operations with 22 production sites worldwide and around 10,000 employees.
