Acquisition of medical films activities of Chinese producer Austar PMC / Deal includes two manufacturing facilities

German film manufacturer Renolit (Worms; www.renolit.com) has extended its position in the global market of medical films through the acquisition of the medical film and related activities of Austar Pharma and Medical Consumables (Austar PMC, Beijing / China; http://en.austarpmc.com).
The acquired activities, which become part of Renolit’s medical business unit, include Austar PMC’s film, tubing, ports and caps businesses, which have production facilities in the Huairu and Tongzhou zone in the greater area of Beijing. No other activities of Austar PMC are included in the acquisition.
Mars Ho, presently CEO and a major shareholder of Austar PMC, will remain in his position as CEO of the acquired business, with the objective of organising the integration of the activities into Renolit.
