RENOLIT
Takeover of Russian sales agency
German thermoplastic films manufacturer Renolit (Worms; www.renolit.com) is taking over its long-term trading partner OOO Renolit in Moscow. OOO Renolit is a trading firm with 17 employees and its own warehouse. Following the takeover, effective 1 January 2009, it will trade as OOO Renolit-Rus.

Renolit said it is taking over the sales agency following rising demand for plastic products in eastern Europe. “In view of the booming construction industry, modern building materials and adequate component supplier products are in great demand”, remarked Michael Kundel, Renolit’s CEO.

Renolit said it intends to further strengthen its position in the states of the former Russian Federation, where it has a leading position in the market for high quality plastic films and products for the building sector.
