Construction of plant for automotive components in Hungary begins
German plastics processing group Rehau (Rehau; www.rehau.com) has laid the foundation stone for its production plant Újhartyán / Hungary – see Plasteurope.com of 05.03.2018 – according to the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (Budapest; www.hipa.hu). The company has invested around EUR 150m to build the new factory for manufacturing plastic components such as bumpers and spoilers.
The 63,000 m² plant will have more than 730 employees and be Rehau's most modern, said Rehau's Automotive CEO Markus Grundmann at the ceremony.
