William Christensen appointed CEO

Rehau’s (Rehau / Germany; www.rehau.com) supervisory board has appointed William Christensen as the group’s new CEO. He succeeds Rainer Schulz, who has headed the company since 2010. Christensen was formerly chief marketing officer, and has been with Rehau since April 2016. Previously, he was responsible for international sales, among other things, at Swiss sanitary technology specialist Geberit.
There is also a change at Rehau’s finance unit. Kurt Plattner is the new CFO, taking over from Dieter Gleisberg.
Rehau employs around 20,000 people at more than 170 locations worldwide, with around 12,000 employees in Europe. In 2017, the plastics processing company recorded sales of more than EUR 3.5 bn.
