Belgian compounder and distributor acquires Bolcof / Boost to US polymers business
Ravago Americas, part of Belgium’s Ravago group (Arendonk; www.ravago.com), has acquired Bolcof-Port Polymers (Bolcof, Azusa, California / USA; www.bolcofplastic.com) for an undisclosed sum. The US company will become part of Ravago’s Amco Polymers business.
“We continue to make strategic acquisitions that add to the strength of our distribution companies. Bolcof’s portfolio, market understanding and reputation, especially on the west coast, will both complement and strengthen the Amco business,” said Jim Duffy, president and CEO of Ravago Holdings Americas.
Bolcof’s sales coverage spans most of the western US, but also includes key accounts along the US east coast and Canada. Its facility in Azusa will provide Amco with additional onsite rail storage/access, warehousing, packaging and van/bulk truck deliveries.
