Polymer material supplier Ravago (Luxembourg; www.ravago.com) is due to start TPE production at its own plant in Huzhou, Zhejiang / China in April this year. Nameplate capacity of the site was not disclosed, although Ravago did say that it will lift its total TPE capacity to 75,000 t/y. Aside from Huzhou, Ravago also manufactures TPE at plants in Istanbul / Turkey, Steinfurt / Germany and Arlington, Texas / USA. The company’s main TPE production and technology hub is located at Ravago Petrokimya (www.ravagopetrokimya.com) in Istanbul.

A leading independent polymer material supplier, Ravago’s portfolio comprises everything from distribution to trade and surplus sales, compounding and recycling all the way to products for the construction segment. The company has an annual polymer throughput of about 4m t/y. Last year Ravago acquired Singapore-based re-compounds and compounds producer Eveready, increasing its footprint in Asia (see Plasteurope.com of 22.09.2015).
