As has now been officially reported, Radici Novacips S.p.A (I-24020 Villa d´Ogna, BG) has acquired, with effect from January 1, 1999, the former family concern of Franz Rauscher GmbH & Co (Schauenburgstr. 15, D-20095 Hamburg). Rauscher has long been the German sales partner for Radici´s “Radilon” polyamide. Apart from its activities as a trading company, Rauscher also has its own production facility in Lüneburg with a capacity of 10,000 t/y. It manufactures PA 6 and 66 (“Heramid”) and TPE (“Heraflex”). The company´s sales amounted to some EUR 35m with a workforce of 80.

Radici´s plastics division has a production capacity – together with Rauscher – of over 50,000 t/y technical compounds with sales of approx. EUR 100m. Production facilities exist in Italy, the US, Brazil and Germany.
