Italian polyamide producer Radici (Bergamo; www.radicigroup.com) has appointed Swiss distributor the Hromatka Group (Aesch; www.hgmag.ch) to boost its position in eastern Europe’s polymers markets. Radici’s agreement with Hromatka’s high-tech speciality polymers specialists Aectra Plastics (Bucharest / Romania; www.aectra-plastics.ro) and Plastoplan Polska (Warsaw / Poland; www.plastoplan.pl) covers the distribution of its PA and PBT engineering polymers “Radilon”, “Heramid”, “Radiflam”, “Radistrong” and “Raditer”.

The agreement, said Radici, is intended to improve its market share in the region as well as accessibility to its products, particularly in Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. Hromatka said it would make further logistics investment to underpin its plans in the aforementioned countries, such as expanding a warehouse in Romania and strengthening its team.
