Albis adds QCP's recycled plastics to pan-European distribution portfolio / JV of LyondellBasell and Suez

German compounder and distributor Albis Plastic (Hamburg; www.albis.com) is now distributing Quality Circular Polymers' (QCP, Geleen / The Netherlands; www.qcpolymers.com) range of recycled plastics across Europe. The Dutch recyclate producer is a 50:50 joint venture of LyondellBasell (LYB, Houston, Texas / USA; www.lyondellbasell.com) and French waste management company Suez (Paris; www.suez.com) since the end of 2017 – see Plasteurope.com of 16.03.2018.
QCP produces rPE and rPP resins from post-consumer packaging waste, and has a portfolio of HDPE and PP compounds for injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding processes. LYB markets these materials as part of its "Moplen" PP and "Hostalen" PE product lines.
