The French holding company PSB Industries (Annecy) has completed the acquisition of Spanish cosmetics packaging manufacturer Quadpack (Barcelona; www.quadpack.com), announced in July 2024. PSB already serves the cosmetics industry with plastic, glass, and metal packaging solutions through subsidiary Texen (Brion, France; www.texen.com).

Under the PSB umbrella, Quadpack and Texen, which will continue to operate as independent companies, have a combined turnover of around EUR 350 mn with over 2,000 employees. This puts the two manufacturers among the top five cosmetics packaging companies worldwide in terms of turnover, according to PSB Industries. The previous Quadpack boss Alexandra Chauvigné is set to be responsible for the activities of the cosmetics packaging duo as CEO in future.

Quadpack produces standard packaging for the mass market, including that for skincare and make-up products, at sites in Spain and Germany. At EUR 128.6 mn, the turnover of the manufacturer of packaging made of plastic, aluminium, and wood was recently 10% below the previous year’s figure.

Texen has so far mainly supplied luxury brands with its packaging. Based in Brion, France, the company operates production facilities in France, Poland, Mexico, and the US.
