Takeover of US injection moulder C+N Packaging complete
French packaging and speciality chemicals producer PSB Industries (Annecy; www.psbindus.com) has completed its acquisition of US injection moulder C+N Packaging (Wyandanch, New York; www.cnpkg.com) – for previous coverage, see Plasteurope.com of 29.07.2014. Financial details were not disclosed. The French group said the purchase is part of its “Ambition 2020” growth plan and will strengthen its position in the international luxury and beauty markets.

PSB said the US company, a specialist for coloured closures used in cosmetics and medical containers, will become part of its Packaging Cosmetics and Perfumery division, adding that the acquisition is expected to be accretive by 2015. With production plants in North America and Poland, C+N’s 250 employees generated sales of USD 25m in 2013.
