Polish polyethylene flake and recyclate producer PPHU Anna Recykling (Celestynéw; www.pphuanna.pl) has raised its production capacity after acquiring a new plant from Italy’s Sorema (Anzano del Parco; www.sorema.it). The line can reportedly turn agricultural and stretch film into recyclate for blown film at a rate of around 1,000 kg/h. Details on the size of the investment were not disclosed.

The new modular system for plastic film recycling consists of a hydraulic shredder, several washing stations with a centrifuge, and flake storage for the dehydrated material. With this new line, the Polish company has increased its available output; it previously operated two recycling plants from Erema and Weima with a total capacity of 1,400 kg/h.

The company was founded in 1995 and supplies rPE to processors that include compatriot PE film manufacturer Bogucki Folie (Celestynéw; www.bogucki-folie.pl), which is located in the immediate vicinity.
