Specialty colorant plant opened in Saudi Arabia / Joint venture with E.A. Juffali & Brothers
US compounder and distributor PolyOne (Cleveland, Ohio; www.polyone.com) and E.A. Juffali & Brothers (Jeddah / Saudi Arabia; www.eajb.com) have opened a new specialty colorant production plant in Jeddah. The companies said the facility, which will be operated by joint venture company Juffali PolyOne Masterbatch Co (for more details see Plasteurope.com of 25.10.2011), will be focused on the production of specialty colour concentrates, with the potential for expansion into other product lines in the future. Capacity details were not disclosed.
Output will be supplied to customers in the Middle East.
