POLYNT
Gel coat plant to be built in Poland to service east European market
Italian composites specialist Polynt (Scanzorosciate, Bergamo; www.polynt.it) is to build a gel coat plant in Poland. The facility will be opened at the end of 2016 in Polynt’s UPR and compounds manufacturing park near Krakow in the town of Niepolomice.

Initially designed to produce 2.000 t/y, the plant can be extended by adding modules to meet future business requirements and market developments. The facility will be capable of producing the full range of Polynt’s gel coats in any colour and will help to maintain and improve service levels in eastern Europe and beyond.

In December last year, the Italian group brough on stream a new carbon fibre-reinforced sheet moulding compounds line at its plant in Miehlen / Germany – see Plasteurope.com of 10.12.2015.
