With sales of approximately EUR 45m, a payroll of 140 and a material output in excess of 30,000 t/y, Polykemi AB (S-27121 Ystad; www.polykemi.se) sees itself as Scandinavia´s biggest compounder. The range of products offered by this engineering thermoplastics´ specialist includes ABS, ASA/SAN, different types of PA, PBT, PC and PC blends, PMMA, POM, PP-GF, PPS, TPE specialities and a number of recyclate grades of ABS, PA, PC and PP. One of the company´s strengths is the customised development and production of blends and compounds.

The German subsidiary Polykemi Deutschland GmbH (Werksstr. 15, D-45527 Hattingen) moved from Menden to the Hattingen Technology Centre on 1 December 2000. Managing Director is Richard Vanselow.
