BOPP film specialist Polibak (Izmir / Turkey; www.polibak.com.tr) said it commissioned its eighth metallisation line in May 2021. The acquisition of the “Bobst K5000 Expert 2450” line has increased production capacity for metallised BOPP film to 36,000 t/y, the company reported.
Polibak, founded in 1994, is one of the leading film producers in Turkey. Its six production lines have a combined capacity for 180,000 t/y of BOPP film.
