POLI-ECO
Profile manufacturer maintains strong growth / Capacity expansion / Tailor made production lines supplied by Battenfeld Extrusionstechnik
Profile manufacturer Poli-Eco Tworzywa Sztuczne (Zary / Poland; www.poli-eco.pl) has reported year-on-year sales growth of 20%, with revenues reaching EUR 40m in 2007, making it the fastest growing company in the sector in Poland. It’s a very bold claim to say that you’re the fastest growing company in the region and there is no explanation of what the region is. Managing director Krzysztof Szymanski expects growth to rise to 25%, which would see annual sales increase to EUR 51m.
In 2005, Poli-Eco invested in its own mixing unit to help consolidate its market position as one of the three leading profile manufacturers in Poland and now produces the 1,200 t of dry blend it needs monthly. The company has also built a 5,000 m² logistics centre at its second site in Zary to accommodate projected growth. A further investment has been announced for the construction of new offices and production facilities on an area of 7,000 m² at the facility.
Poli-Eco operates a total of 29 extrusion lines, of which 24 are from Battenfeld Extrusionstechnik (Bad Oeynhausen / Germany; www.bex.battenfeld.com). Battenfeld has been supplying the PVC converter with complete tailor-made extrusion lines for around 10 years.
