Tetra Pak to eliminate jobs in Switzerland
Tetra Pak International (Pully / Switzerland; www.tetrapak.com), part of the Swedish packaging group, is planning to eliminate 80 jobs out of a current 250 at its Swiss headquarters near Lausanne by the end of 2007. The company said the decision follows a review of activities there, including benchmarking with similar companies. The cuts will be made through attrition, relocation, outsourcing and downsizing.
