BP´s PlasTec now known as Etimex
The former BP Chemicals PlasTec GmbH (D-89161 Dietenheim), sold in a management buyout financed by Barclays Private Equity in June 2002, is to be divided into two companies. In future, activities at Dietenheim will be known as Etimex Primary Packaging GmbH (food and pharmaceutical packaging). The technical components units at Rottenacker, Germany, and Charlotte, North Carolina / USA will trade respectively as Etimex Technical Components GmbH and Etimex USA Inc.
