Polyplex to build BOPET plant in Turkey
Indian BOPET film producer Polyplex (www.polyplex.com), has announced plans to build a new USD 46m (EUR 35m) plant for 24,000 t/y of the films in the Turkish free trade zone of Corlu. The plant, which will be operated by subsidiary Polyplex Polyester Film Sanayi ve Ticaret, is scheduled to go on stream at the beginning of October 2005. Officially targeted markets are central and eastern Europe as well as the Mediterranean basin.
