Bischof + Klein increases UK capacity
A major investment programme at its flexible packaging plant involving a factory extension together with increased extrusion and printing capacity will be completed during May by Bischof + Klein UK (GB-Telford TF1 7XX; www.bischof-und-klein.de). The increase in output at the 17,000 t/y facility, which opened in 1981 and produces PE film and sacks, is in response to strong sales growth in the consumer and industrial markets. The B+K group has 10 production plants in Europe and the Middle East and an annual turnover of EUR 450m.
