Deceuninck plans restructuring in UK
Some 80 of 259 jobs at PVC window profiles group Deceuninck (B-8830 Hooglede-Gits; www.deceuninck.com) will be affected by the planned restructuring of UK production activities. The Delph site in northern England is to be closed, with the transfer of profile extrusion and window production to other European plants. The Calne site in southwestern England will continue to make window and cellular foam profiles. The moves are expected to save about GBP 50m (EUR 73m) this year.
